The river starts from Fraser's Hill and swells up when it rains up there at Fraser's Hill - it'd take a few hours for the water upstream to flow to where The Sticks is located, and you wouldn't want to be caught by the river when this happens! It took us 1 hour to reach Lata Medang at a fast but comfortable pace before rainy season.
