It is always hard to decide which order to write about the manufacturers in after a MotoGP test.
But with just two days at a familiar track, before heading to the unknown territory of Mandalika, there is a lot of work that needs to be done to prepare for the 2022 season.
The engine character and exhaust pipe are undoubtedly linked, and given the lack of complaints about aggressive throttle response, there were probably internal changes to the engine which obviated the need to control torque with the exhaust valve.
Top speed was a real concern, as was the speed of teammate Franco Morbidelli, 24th.
